Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rubao Valadares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin Walter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valadares fails with a takedown attempt.

Walter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Walter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Valadares holds on, trying desperately to control.

Valadares tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Walter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Walter wants to control from the top but Valadares keeps moving.

Valadares controls Walter momentarily but Walter frees himself.
Valadares bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Walter's guard.

Walter throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Valadares stands up and waves to Walter to follow him.

Walter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Valadares avoids it really well and circles away.

Walter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Valadares defends it nicely.

Donk. Valadares catches Walter right on the button with a cross.
Walter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Valadares tries to avoid it but Walter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Valadares to the ground. Valadares escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Walter is breathing heavily.
Walter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Valadares manages to work his way to half guard, despite Walter's best efforts.
Valadares wants to control but Walter is keeping busy.
Walter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Valadares doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Walter.
Valadares is looking for a sweep. Walter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Valadares looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Valadares pushes Walter off looking to stand but Walter dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Valadares manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Valadares wants to sweep here but Walter controlling him for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Nice takedown defense from Valadares. No joy for Walter on that attempt.
Valadares shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walter as he jumps to the side.
Valadares moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Walter is rocked!
Valadares misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Walter shoots for a double leg takedown but Valadares sprawls well. He's pushed Walter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A jab-cross combination lands for Valadares and sends Walter crashing to the mat! Valadares follows him down to the mat - Walter regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Walter is still in real trouble! Can Valadares finish him?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Valadares is looking to advance position but Walter won't allow it.
Walter seems to have recovered his senses.
Walter is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Valadares pulls his head out easily.
Valadares tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Valadares decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Walter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Valadares circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Valadares lands with a right that hurts Walter. Walter looks to clinch but Valadares throws a short knee that drops Walter. This one is all over!
