Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobra tries a head kick but it misses.
Hanma tries to close the distance and clinch but Cobra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cobra misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cobra throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hanma was covering up waiting for the punch and Cobra finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cobra throws a strike but Hanma rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Cobra is working an open guard so Hanma takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Hanma defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cobra.

Cobra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hanma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

and Hanma counters with a three punch combo that has Cobra backing up. Cobra nods at Hanma to acknowledge the strikes.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hanma here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
