The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rulu gets caught flat footed, as Barton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Barton postures up and lands a big shot to Rulu's brow.
Rulu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rulu wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Barton is now in half guard.
Rulu is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rulu is working hard here to advance position.
Barton is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Rulu is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
