Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apanson stuffs the takedown attempt from Pukama. Pukama gets slowly back to his feet.
Pukama walks into a jab.
Apanson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pukama.
Apanson cracks Pukama with an open hand slap.
Pukama shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pukama decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Apanson desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Apanson is looking to improve his position.
Apanson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pukama is working away from the top position though.
Apanson is pressing down on Pukama's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Apanson is looking for a triangle but Pukama pushes his legs off easily.

Pukama sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Apanson's guard.

Pukama advances to half guard.

Pukama is trying to control the action in half guard but Apanson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pukama looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Apanson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pukamais looking to pass into half guard but Apanson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Apanson is in guard.
Pukama is looking for a triangle but Apanson pushes his legs off easily.
Apanson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Apanson stands and throws Pukama's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Pukama tries to improve position but can't.

Apanson lands a decent elbow from side control.

Apanson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pukama looks calm but he's in trouble here. Apanson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pukama is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Apanson lets go of the hold and Pukama can pop his arm back in it's socket.
