Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blaine Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartosz Jarecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blaine Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bartosz Jarecki! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop fails with the takedown. Bishop looks to score with a jab to the body but Jarecki is just out of range. Bishop tries to clinch but Jarecki is having none of it. Jarecki keeps the fight on the outside. Jarecki waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bishop. Bishop shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jarecki as he avoids it easily. Jarecki closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jarecki lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jarecki avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bishop throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop controlling Jarecki's posture. Bishop has his foot on Jarecki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jarecki works his way back into a safe position though. Jarecki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bishop swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bishop can't keep his opponent in guard - Jarecki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Jarecki is thwarting Bishop's attempts to control the position. Bishop tries to roll over but Jarecki keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bishop is not content to let Jarecki control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jarecki wants to free his trapped foot but Bishop is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jarecki not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bishop misses with a takedown attempt and Jarecki counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blaine Bishop. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bishop dodges an elbow strike from Jarecki.

Bishop is pressed up against the cage. Jarecki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bishop down to the mat. Bishop avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bishop changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jarecki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bishop trying to control the action but Jarecki is working from the bottom. Bishop decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jarecki misses with a low kick.
Jarecki fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bishop checks it well. Bishop tries to clinch there but Jarecki circles away.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Jarecki. Jarecki is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bishop is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jarecki looking to control but instead Bishop has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Jarecki looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bishop is looking for a sweep. Jarecki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bishop kicks Jarecki off and gets back to his feet. Jarecki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jarecki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bishop holds on, trying desperately to control. Jarecki avoids the attempt from Bishop to control. Jarecki prevents Bishop from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bartosz Jarecki will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jarecki checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jarecki checks a leg kick. Bishop tries to keep at a distance but Jarecki has taken the fight into the clinch. Bishop fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Bishop is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jarecki can't fight it off and eventually Bishop manages to take the fight to the floor. Jarecki looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bishop wants to control from the top but Jarecki keeps moving. Jarecki looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop wants to control from the top but Jarecki keeps moving. Jarecki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bishop is one step ahead there. Bishop advances position into side control! Bishop has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jarecki is looking to clinch. Bishop wants to clinch and Jarecki counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bishop is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bishop avoiding damage as Jarecki throws knees to the body.
Bishop has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jarecki is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bishop tries to break free but Jarecki pushes him back against the cage. Jarecki looking to slow down the pace here. Jarecki prevents Bishop from breaking the clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Bishop throws an elbow but misses. Bishop is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Jarecki misses with an elbow over the top. Jarecki works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop pulls Jarecki in close to prevent any damage. Bishop bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jarecki's guard. Bishop stands up and waves to Jarecki to follow him. Jarecki tries to close the distance and clinch but Bishop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A head kick misses from Bishop. The fight stays on the outside here - Jarecki looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Blaine Bishop is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bishop gets the takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jarecki is trying to control Bishop's posture but Bishop avoids it. Bishop trying to control the action but Jarecki is working from the bottom. Jarecki tries to improve position but can't. Jarecki is breathing heavily. Bishop misses with the ground and pound. Bishop trying to control the action but Jarecki is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blaine Bishop dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bishop wants to clinch but Jarecki slips to the side and Jarecki counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bishop's guard now. Jarecki throwing strikes but missing. Jarecki is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bishop is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bishop has escaped and now he's on top! Bishop won't allow Jarecki to sweep him here. Jarecki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bishop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bishop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bishop throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jarecki works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jarecki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jarecki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bishop advances position into side control! Bishop takes a little break here. Jarecki wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bishop tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. A lull in the action here as Bishop stalls from top position. Blaine Bishop overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bishop decides to take the fight back to the feet. Bishop looking to land some kicks to the body here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop shoots and misses and Jarecki counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jarecki slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. You can see the frustration on Bishop's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bishop regains half guard. Bishop misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Bishop manages to escape and get back to his feet! Jarecki doesn't manage to clinch there - Bishop circles away.
Bishop clinches but Jarecki breaks the clinch and Jarecki counters by clinching up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jarecki slows down the pace here.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blaine Bishop. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jarecki drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jarecki throws an elbow that misses.
A frustrated look appears on Bishop's face as he tries to break the clinch. Bishop jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jarecki walks away with a smile on his face. Bishop gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bishop throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jarecki.
And that's the end of the fight! Bartosz Jarecki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jarecki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
