The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camero looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Camero really is a fat lump.

Camero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

rampage is trying to get back to his feet but Camero has full control of the position and if anything, rampage has just worked his way into a worse spot.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Camero fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. rampage sprawls well initially but Camero persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mike Camero overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

rampage tries to close the distance and clinch but Camero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
rampage leaves Camero with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Camero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. rampage was covering up waiting for the punch and Camero finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Camero slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Camero, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
