Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andy Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andy Pain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Aldo! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pain throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aldo's waist but Aldo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pain off to one side. Aldo leaves Pain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pain fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Pain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Aldo is fending him off so far but Pain persists. Nope, Aldo circles away and we're back to standing. Pain gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Aldo to score an easy takedown into full guard. Aldo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pain is keeping the position for now. Aldo works a leg free and moves into half guard. Pain trying to hold on to Aldo's head to control him but Aldo postures up.
Aldo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pain defending well though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aldo wants to work for an arm triangle but Pain is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo uses his free foot to push down on Pain's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pain. Aldo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Aldo is landing with some decent strikes but Pain is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Aldo lands with some strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aldo lands a nice shot to the head. Aldo with good strikes from the mount here! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Aldo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Pain is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Pain is forced to tap! Great finish!
