Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sean Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyotr Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sean Jitsu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pyotr Kalashnikov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sean Jitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pyotr Kalashnikov!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu shoots in for a takedown but Kalashnikov shows good takedown defense.
Jitsu shoots in and drives through. Kalashnikov sprawls well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jitsu. Kalashnikov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kalashnikov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jitsu throws a body punch but Kalashnikov moves out of range.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jitsu goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kalashnikov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jitsu but great work by Kalashnikov.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Sean Jitsu has been cut.

and Kalashnikov counters with a good low kick that Jitsu was not able to check.

Jitsu shoots in looking for a takedown. Kalashnikov tries to sprawl out of it but Jitsu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kalashnikov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jitsu shoots in and bounces Kalashnikov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kalashnikov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Kalashnikov parries the strikes from Jitsu easily there. Jitsu is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kalashnikov to escape.
