Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jung Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Todd Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim throws a right hand that Anderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Anderson also avoids with ease.
Kim misses with a jab, cross combination.
Anderson lands a really nice looking cross but Kim seems unphased.


It looks like Jung Kim has been cut.

Anderson gets a takedown into half guard.
Anderson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kim keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Anderson missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Anderson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Anderson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kim's head.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Anderson in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Still in half guard, Anderson seems content to control.
Anderson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Anderson wants to free his trapped foot but Kim is holding on for dear life with his legs.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Todd Anderson.
Anderson lands a right hook to the body.
Kim looks to land a combination but Anderson avoids it well.
A combination from Kim does no damage.
A slow jab from Kim misses its intended target.
Jung Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anderson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kim!
Anderson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Anderson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kim takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Anderson controlling the position easily from mount.
Anderson with the ground and pound from mount.

Anderson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
I looks like Anderson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Anderson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Anderson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!


Jung Kim's cut is getting worse.
Anderson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Jung Kim's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Anderson punching from mount but Kim doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Anderson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kim looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Todd Anderson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jung Kim's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Kim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Anderson paws at him with a jab and circles away.


Jeez, Jung Kim's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jung Kim's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Todd Anderson!
