Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diesel Kone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michio Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suzuki has chosen Dragonball Z Theme as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Diesel Kone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michio Suzuki! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suzuki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Suzuki. Kone misses with a jab to the body
and Suzuki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kone throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Suzuki counter with a right hand. Suzuki thows a left - swing and a miss! Kone fails with an attempt to clinch.
A big left from Suzuki misses. Diesel Kone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kone tries to move into range but Suzuki moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Suzuki walks into a stiff left hand from Kone.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kone throws a combination that misses and Suzuki counters with a nice uppercut. Nice uppercut lands for Kone. That snapped Suzuki's head back.
Suzuki thows a left - swing and a miss! A big right from Kone misses. A swing and a miss from Suzuki. Kone fails in his attempt to clinch. Kone throws a lazy right hand but Suzuki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kone thows a body shot but no joy. Kone thuds a left hand into Suzuki's body. Suzuki looks to score with a jab to the body but Kone is just out of range. Kone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kone fails in his attempt to clinch. Suzuki misses with a hook. Suzuki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Suzuki swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki just misses with a punch to the body.

Kone thows a body shot but no joy. Kone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kone closes the distance looking to clinch and Suzuki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Suzuki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kone. Kone pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kone avoids the body shot from Suzuki.
Kone drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kone tries to clinch but Suzuki is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kone dips to his left and cracks Suzuki with an uppercut! Suzuki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kone. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diesel Kone dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kone lunges at Suzuki with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Suzuki's hand. Kone misses with a two punch combination.

Suzuki throws a combination that misses and Suzuki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kone fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kone moves in looking to clinch but Suzuki pushes him off. Suzuki keeps the fight on the outside. Kone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kone darts in trying to clinch and Suzuki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Suzuki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kone throws out the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kone moves in looking to clinch but Suzuki pushes him off. Kone lands a nice shot that snaps Suzuki's head back.
Suzuki blocks a jab. Suzuki clobbers Kone with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Suzuki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kone is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kone's legs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kone defending against the ground and pound. Suzuki trying to control the position but Kone is working away. Kone stops Suzuki from passing to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A lull in the action here. Suzuki trying to control the action but Kone is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Suzuki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kone.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Diesel Kone will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kone tries to clinch up and Kone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Diesel Kone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Suzuki throws a combination. Kone tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kone misses with a two punch combination.
Kone looks to score with a jab to the body but Suzuki is just out of range. Kone throws a sloppy body shot
and Suzuki counters with a nice uppercut. A swing and a miss from Suzuki.

Suzuki staying out of range there. Kone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kone wants it to stay on the feet. Michio Suzuki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kone throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Kone wants to clinch and Suzuki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Suzuki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kone moves away. Kone tries to close the distance and clinch but Suzuki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kone dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kone steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Suzuki. Kone connects with a single shot there.
And that's the end of the fight! Michio Suzuki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kone has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
