Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chev Chelios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laz Icarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Icarus looks for a takedown but Chelios sprawls well.
Chelios doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Icarus counters by clinching up.
Icarus jumps into guard, dragging Chelios to the mat.

Chelios is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Icarus off and has taken his back!
You can see the frustration on Icarus's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Icarus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chelios. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chelios is really struggling to control Icarus but he's trying to hold on to the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Chev Chelios will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Chelios stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Icarus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Icarus has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chelios's face.

Chelios is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Icarus goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Chelios turns into him and now he's in Icarus's guard.

You can see the frustration on Icarus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chelios, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
