Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Ung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamir Rolofzki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Ung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hamir Rolofzki!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ung fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rolofzki avoids it really well and circles away.
Rolofzki displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.


It looks like Kevin Ung has been cut.

Rolofzki drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rolofzki throwing strikes from guard but Ung blocks nicely.

Ung throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rolofzki uses it to pass to side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rolofzki wants to stand but Ung is controlling his arm.
Rolofzki trying to control the position but Ung is working away.
Ung is trying to improve his position.

Rolofzki is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ung is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rolofzki scores with a couple of short elbows.
Rolofzki misses with the ground and pound.
A lull in the action here.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Rolofzki stands up and beckons Ung to his feet.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ung is on top in guard.
Ung sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Ung drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ung jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rolofzki is trying to control the position but Ung postures up.

Rolofzki wants to sweep here but Ung controlling him for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rolofzki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rolofzki looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ung slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Ung trying to control but Rolofzki is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rolofzki with a lazy takedown attempt

and Ung counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Ung keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Ung is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rolofzki is looking for a sweep. Ung is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ung is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rolofzki doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ung.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ung has his takedown stuffed

and Rolofzki counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Rolofzki is just content to waste time from the top position. Ung takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Ung controls Rolofzki momentarily but Rolofzki frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rolofzki wants to get up but he can't break Ung's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ung is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rolofzki tries to free his leg and advance position but Ung is retaining full guard.
Ung avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rolofzki seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rolofzki clinches but Ung breaks the clinch

and Ung decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rolofzki's guard.

Ung is stalling in the full guard.
Ung seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rolofzki for as long as he can get away with.
Ung with a flurry of punches that miss.

Ung trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rolofzki's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ung pushes down on Rolofzki's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ung stalling.
Rolofzki tries to kick Ung off but Ung keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Ung stands up from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Rolofzki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ung controlling the position well.
Ung is pressing down on Rolofzki's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Rolofzki is fighting to break Ung's control of his arms but Ung is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Ung keeping moving, preventing Rolofzki from controlling successfully.

Ung is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rolofzki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ung is keeping the position for now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ung is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rolofzki tries to free his leg and advance position but Ung is retaining full guard.
Ung is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Rolofzki makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rolofzki.

Ung slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rolofzki lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ung!
Ung keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ung throwing hammer fists to the chest of Rolofzki. What's that going to do exactly?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rolofzki wants to control the pace but Ung is squirming around nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Hamir Rolofzki.
Well Rolofzki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
