The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson tries to clinch but Powers is having none of it.
Henderson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Henderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Henderson dodges the punch combination from Powers.
Powers lands with a nice body kick.
Henderson wants to clinch.
Powers shoots for a takedown but Henderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Henderson loads up on a big right hand but Powers slips the punch.

and Powers counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Powers.
Powers is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Henderson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Powers is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Henderson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Powers's back instead.
Henderson is breathing heavily.
Henderson is not going to allow Powers to sit and survive in this position.
Powers is trying to break free.
Powers trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Powers is trapped and Henderson is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Powers trying to control the hands but Henderson breaks the grip.

Powers covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Henderson connects with a big shot to the side of Powers's head.
Henderson is hanging on to Powers's back as he tries to escape.
Powers wants to control his opponent's hands but Henderson gets his hands free.
Henderson is trying to stick to Powers's back but Powers is turning into Henderson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Henderson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Powers.
Powers passes Henderson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Powers is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Henderson reverses the position - he's now on top in Powers's guard.

Powers wants to pass to mount but Henderson is defending the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Henderson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Henderson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Henderson prevents Powers from getting the reversal.
Powers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Powers tries to lock up and control but Henderson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jaxson Powers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Powers is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Powers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Henderson sprawls well initially but Powers persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Powers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Henderson defends it well.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Henderson is on top in guard.
Henderson connects with a couple of short punches.
Powers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henderson's guard.
Powers gets to his feet. Henderson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Powers rushes Henderson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Powers manages to break the clinch.

and Powers counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Powers.
Powers pushes down on Henderson's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Powers's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Henderson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Jaxson Powers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Powers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
