The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Corleone shoots in for a takedown but Magamedov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Corleone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Corleone dives in and grabs Magamedov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Magamedov pushes down on Corleone's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Corleone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Corleone feints and as Magamedov raises his hands in defense, Corleone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Corleone passes Magamedov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Magamedov is doing well to control the position and prevent Corleone from advancing to side control.
Corleone is trying to control. Magamedov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Corleone seems to be looking for submissions.
Corleone prevents Magamedov from improving his position.
Magamedov looks gassed!
Magamedov is looking to control Corleone's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Magamedov avoid being mounted?
Corleone in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Magamedov tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Corleone!
