Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Saint Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diederick Christiaan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christiaan has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Brandon Saint Randy has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint Randy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Christiaan is fending him off so far but Saint Randy persists. Nope, Christiaan circles away and we're back to standing.

Christiaan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Saint Randy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Christiaan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Saint Randy's guard.

Saint Randy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Christiaan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Christiaan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Christiaan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Saint Randy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Christiaan has managed to get both his arms back between Saint Randy's legs - danger averted.
Christiaan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Saint Randy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Christiaan taps out and this one is all over!
