Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeo Pardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Hillbilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hillbilly has chosen I Love Country Music (And I'd Rather Fight Than Switch) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hillbilly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Pardy tries to roll over but Hillbilly keeps him under control.

Hillbilly stands up from Pardy's guard - Hillbilly perhaps looking for a knockout.

Pardy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hillbilly's guard.

Hillbilly wants to sweep here but Pardy controlling him for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pardy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hillbilly defends it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hillbilly gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hillbilly apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hillbilly has Pardy pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hillbilly pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pardy tumbling to the mat - Hillbilly dives into Pardy's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pardy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
