Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto Reinold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed comes to the cage accompanied by Bow Down- Westside Connection. Otto Reinold will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jamal Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto Reinold! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Reed lands in his opponent's guard. Reed knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reinold on the ground. Reinold looking to control.
Reinold is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Reinold bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reed's guard. Reed is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reinold is controlling him. Reed might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Reinold trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Reinold throwing strikes from guard but Reed blocks nicely. Reed is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Reed utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Reinold trying to control the position from guard on top but Reed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reinold pushing down on Reed's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed is trying to stand back up but Reinold is controlling him
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Reed shoots in and drives through. Reinold sprawls well. Reed will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Reed is breathing heavily. Reinold clinches up with Reed and pushes him back against the cage. Reinold drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reed wants to get back to striking at distance but Reinold won't allow it.
Reinold escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reed shoots in for a double leg but Reinold sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Reed keeps the fight on the outside. Reed swinging wilding here.
No joy there for Reed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reinold fails in his attempt to clinch. Reinold tries to close the distance and clinch but Reed swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Reinold shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Reinold fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reinold controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reinold raining down shots from the mount! Reinold has control of Reed's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Reed regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Reed is squirming around, avoiding Reinold's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Reinold is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Reed has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reinold is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Reinold!
