Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mateusz Klunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerico Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klunder tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maxwell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Klunder misses with a wild combination.
Nice sprawl there from Klunder as Maxwell shoots in.

and Maxwell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Klunder is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Maxwell is on top in guard.

Jerico Maxwell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Klunder got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maxwell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Klunder has managed to get both his arms back between Maxwell's legs - danger averted.
