Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake The Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Dee Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake The Spider! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jay Dee Penn! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Left hook, right uppercut from Penn. Penn closes the distance and clinches up with The Spider, looking for a takedown. Penn pushes The Spider against the cage but The Spider circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The Spider moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Penn pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. The Spider is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Penn's half guard. Penn wants to get back to his feet. The Spider working over Penn with some ground and pound. Penn looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Nice strikes from The Spider there. The Spider looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The Spider trying to mount his opponent but Penn defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Spider scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The Spider winds up and cracks Penn with a swinging punch to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Penn flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The Spider looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The Spider wants to free his trapped foot but Penn is holding on for dear life with his legs. Penn punching from the bottom.
The Spider winds up and cracks Penn with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The Spider blocks the strikes from Penn.
Penn throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The Spider tries to pass to full mount but Penn defends it. The Spider blocks the strikes from Penn.
The Spider scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The Spider with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The Spider lands strikes from half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The Spider trying to mount his opponent but Penn defends it. The Spider is nestled in close to Penn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The Spider trying to control the action but Penn is working from the bottom. The Spider is looking to advance position but Penn won't allow it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Penn missing with punches from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Spider is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Penn punching from the bottom.
Penn flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The Spider looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Penn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The Spider trying to mount his opponent but Penn defends it. The Spider working Penn over with strikes. The Spider passes to side control. The Spider scores with a couple of short elbows. The Spider working the ground and pound. Penn throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
The Spider scores with punches from side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Spider in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Penn is rocked! Penn looks gassed! The Spider landing strikes. Penn is still in real trouble! Can The Spider finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn is not in a great position here, taking some shots. A big shot lands for The Spider! That's hurt Penn! Will he recover? The Spider fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake The Spider! Jake The Spider retains his featherweight title!
