Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pol Rawn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pim De Keysergracht!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rawn throws a nice looking combination but De Keysergracht bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
De Keysergracht stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and De Keysergracht wants it to stay on the feet.
Rawn shoots in and drives through. De Keysergracht sprawls well.
Rawn looks for a takedown but De Keysergracht sprawls well.

De Keysergracht gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Rawn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if De Keysergracht can do anything to dispel that myth.

De Keysergracht pushes Rawn off looking to stand but Rawn dives back in and keeps control.
Rawn is taking a breather. De Keysergracht says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rawn passes the guard and advances to mount!
De Keysergracht really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rawn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rawn breaks from De Keysergracht's wrist control and lands an elbow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
De Keysergracht's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Rawn takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rawn lands a big shot there that rocks De Keysergracht but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rawn mounts De Keysergracht! Really nice guard pass there!
De Keysergracht stops Rawn from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Rawn lands a heavy elbow.
You get the feeling that De Keysergracht really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Oooh a big shot lands for Rawn! De Keysergracht is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
