Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magamedov lands a head kick. Gomes smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Gomes tries for a takedown but Magamedov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Magamedov keeps the fight on the outside.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gomes is defended easily by Magamedov.
Magamedov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gomes tries to bench press Magamedov off him but Magamedov keeps the position.
Gomes is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Magamedov is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Magamedov goes for an armbar but Gomes turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Gomes.
Magamedov is looking for a triangle but Gomes pushes his legs off easily.

Magamedov wants to get back to his feet but Gomes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Magamedov lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gomes!

Magamedov has hold of Gomes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gomes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gomes reaches up to try and control the position but Magamedov seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Gomes rolls and tries to escape and now Magamedov has his back!
Gomes has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Magamedov scores with punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Magamedov has got one arm under Gomes's chin. This could be trouble... Gomes trying to control the other hand but Magamedov gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Gomes has tapped out! The fight is over!
