Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Neto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neto kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bad Boys - Bob Marley. The key to victory for Ed Neto has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ed Neto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Robinson! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Robinson or perhaps it was just good defense by Neto which made him look bad. Neto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Neto lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robinson circles away quickly and effectively. Neto shoots and misses and Robinson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Neto's guard now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Robinson tries to free his leg and advance position but Neto is retaining full guard. Neto doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Robinson slips nicely into half guard. Neto tries to get to full guard but Robinson has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robinson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Neto pushes Robinson off looking to stand but Robinson dives back in and keeps control.
Robinson is trying to work for a kimura but Neto is defending well.
Neto tries to get to full guard but Robinson has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Neto has one foot on Robinson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Neto misses with a double jab
and Robinson counters with a single leg into guard. Neto didn't expect that. Neto trying to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neto wants to stand but Robinson is controlling the position. Neto looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Robinson pushing down on Neto's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Robinson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Neto keeps working. Robinson is looking for a kimura but Neto is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Robinson to get the leverage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Robinson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Neto lands with a kick to the ribs.
Neto throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Robinson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Robinson lands in his opponent's guard. Neto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Neto working a defensive guard but Robinson manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robinson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Robinson takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Neto to pass into mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Neto stops Robinson from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Neto is wriggling around trying to escape.
Neto is working hard here to advance position. Neto tries to hold on but Robinson pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson fails to take his opponent's back. Neto is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Neto tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neto bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Robinson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Neto wants to stand and escape but instead Robinson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Robinson looking to pass the guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but George Robinson will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

It looks like George Robinson has been cut. Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Neto paws at him with a jab and circles away. Robinson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Robinson prevents Neto from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Robinson prevents Neto from improving his position. Robinson is looking for a kimura but Neto is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Robinson to get the leverage. Neto wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neto is trying to maintain the position but Robinson is very close to passing his half guard. Neto has his hands clasped together around Robinson's back. He's all about the action. Neto wants to control but Robinson is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Neto throws a lazy head kick and Robinson counters with a single leg into guard. Neto didn't expect that. Neto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Robinson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! George Robinson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Robinson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
