Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Belin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rock the Casbah. Paul Hardy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hardy is fending him off so far but Belin persists. Nope, Hardy circles away and we're back to standing.

Hardy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Belin on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hardy stands and steps away. Belin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Belin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hardy has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hardy!

Hardy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Belin finds it's way round the side to connect with Hardy's head.

Belin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hardy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Belin cracks Hardy with a right hand to the side of the head.
Belin misses with a straight left.
Belin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hardy.
Hardy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Belin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Belin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hardy tries to avoid it but Belin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hardy to the ground. Hardy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hardy throws a low kick, looking for Belin's leg but Belin calmly moves out of range.
Hardy looks to land a left hand but Belin moved out of range nicely.
Hardy throws a shot from downtown. Belin moves away and avoids it.
Belin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Belin throws a lazy right hand but Hardy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hardy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Hardy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Belin drops back looking for a leg! Hardy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hardy manages to kick Belin off! Belin jumps back into Hardy's guard.

Hardy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
