Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanner's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wasted remix. Lee has chosen On To The Next One as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee blocks a head kick by Tanner.
Tanner wants to clinch.

Tanner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lee.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tanner, right into the meat.

and Lee counters with a nice body shot.

Tanner takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Tanner throws a leg kick but Lee sees it coming and moves out of range.
Tanner throws a leg kick that misses.
Lee swings for the body but Tanner moves out of range.
Lee throws a looping overhand right but Tanner ducks down to avoid it.

Tanner buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lee is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Tanner rather than just go for the knockout.
Lee misses with a low kick.

Lee drops his hands momentarily and Tanner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lee dips to his left and cracks Tanner with an uppercut!
Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tanner.
Lee lands a glancing blow to the side of Tanner's head.
Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Tanner is just out of range.
Tanner tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range.
Tanner is looking to clinch but Lee is avoiding it.
Lee keeps the fight on the outside.
Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Tanner.
Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tanner was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.
Tanner throws a quick inside leg kick.
Tanner tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range.
Tanner takes one on the button.
Tanner looks to land a body kick but Lee moved away.
Tanner moves away from the strike by Lee.
Lee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Tanner wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.
Tanner fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lee is out of range.
Lee jabs at Tanner's body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tanner.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tanner throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lee's head.
Tanner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lee swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Tanner counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lee lands with a nice body punch.
Lee misses the body punch
and Tanner counters with a thumping low kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Tanner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lee digs a good body shot into Tanner's ribs.
Lee jabs at Tanner's body.
Tanner is breathing heavily.
Tanner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tanner takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Tanner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tanner takes a shot to the body in his stride.

A jab from Lee does it's job there.
Lee lands a big uppercut and Tanner crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tanner looks OK. Lee waves Tanner back to his feet!
Tanner is rocked!
Lee connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Tanner out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Barney Lee!
