Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pharrell Bape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tokugawa Kazunari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazunari comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Seeker kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pharrell Bape has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazunari avoids the body shot from Bape.
Bape is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kazunari sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Bape looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bape stuns Kazunari with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bape tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kazunari sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bape somewhat.
Kazunari feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bape is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bape has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kazunari can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kazunari stands and throws Bape's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kazunari is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bape knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

You can see the frustration on Bape's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kazunari has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bape is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kazunari yanks on the arm and Bape is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kazunari.
