Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dewayne Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pharrell Bape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dewayne Wayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pharrell Bape!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bape keeps the fight on the outside.
Wayne throws a sloppy head kick and Bape moves out of range easily.
Wayne misses with the combination.
Bape gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wayne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wayne wants to control from the top but Bape keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wayne fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bape has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bape stuffs the takedown.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bape but Bape pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bape changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wayne tries to avoid it but Bape manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wayne to the ground. Wayne escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wayne avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bape lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wayne's sensitive parts.
Wayne takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Wayne shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bape defends it nicely.

Bape drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wayne gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Wayne goes for a takedown attempt but Bape pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bape is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wayne can't fight it off and eventually Bape manages to take the fight to the floor. Wayne looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bape will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wayne throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bape's waist but Bape gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wayne off to one side.
Bape looks for a takedown but Wayne sprawls well.
Bape gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wayne counters with a shoot takedown. Bape fights it but they end up in guard.

Wayne avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

A close round but Pharrell Bape will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Bape throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bape fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wayne avoids it really well and circles away.
Wayne instigates a clinch.
Wayne tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Nice body punch from Bape - that landed with a thud.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wayne tries to pull guard but Bape holds him up against the cage and eventually Wayne drops back down to his feet.

Bape connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Wayne is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Wayne is squirming around, avoiding Bape's attempts to control the action.
Bape has hold of Wayne's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wayne manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wayne bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wayne postures up.
Bape manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bape thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

A close second round but Pharrell Bape will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Wayne wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Wayne can't find room to land a body shot as Bape controls the action.
Wayne tries to land knees in the clinch but Bape avoids the damage to the body.
Bape jumps guard and drags Wayne to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Wayne tries to lock up and control but Bape gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Wayne is squirming around, avoiding Bape's attempts to control the action.

Pharrell Bape has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bape biding his time, looking for the opening.
