Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Ness! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nerubian Assasin! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ness looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ness feints and as Assasin raises his hands in defense, Ness changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Assasin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Assasin can do anything to dispel that myth. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ness accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Assasin is wriggling around but Ness manages to pass to half guard.

You get the feeling that Assasin really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Ness uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Assasin. Ness drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Assasin wants to get back to his feet but Ness is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! Mike Ness showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ness, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
