The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atayev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yankov avoids it really well and circles away.
Atayev is looking to clinch but Yankov is avoiding it.
Atayev is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Yankov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Atayev is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Yankov pulls his head out easily.
Yankov landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Yankov stops Atayev from getting back to his feet.

It looks like Bozigit Atayev has been cut.
Atayev is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Yankov scores with a couple of nice shots.

Atayev has hold of Yankov's hands but Yankov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Yankov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Atayev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Atayev is looking to escape.

Yankov is nestled in close to Atayev, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Atayev is rocked!
That has opened up Bozigit Atayev's cut even more.
Yankov scores with a big shot! Atayev's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Atayev! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
