Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hempii Sapponen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kain's choice of entrance music: Irresponsible Hate Anthem. Jason Kain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hempii Sapponen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Kain! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kain tries to clinch but Sapponen moves out of range. Kain scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kain is looking to advance position but Sapponen won't allow it. Sapponen trying to hold on to Kain's head to control him but Kain postures up.
Kain not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sapponen manages to get to full guard.
Sapponen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kain working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Sapponen pulls Kain in to control the position. Kain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sapponen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kain postures up in Sapponen's guard and throws a big left but Sapponen blocks it. Kain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sapponen working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kain wants to control from the top but Sapponen keeps moving. Sapponen looking for a sweep. Not yet Sapponen, not yet. Sapponen seems keen to control Kain's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sapponen stuffs the takedown attempt from Kain. Kain gets slowly back to his feet. Sapponen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kain moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sapponen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kain keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sapponen slips a straight right by Kain. Kain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sapponen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kain somewhat. The fight stays on the outside here - Kain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kain takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Jason Kain has been cut. Kain moves in looking to clinch but Sapponen pushes him off. Sapponen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hempii Sapponen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Kain. No joy there for Sapponen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kain. Sapponen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kain takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sapponen lands a nice looking body shot.
Kain looks gassed! Sapponen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kain right on the button. Kain goes down! Sapponen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Sapponen gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hempii Sapponen!
