Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Garciaz! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marins misses with a looping right. A big right from Marins misses. Garciaz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Marins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Garciaz somewhat. Marins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garciaz is trying to escape the position but Marins is controlling the position. Marins seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Garciaz for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Marins goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Garciaz has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Marins but great work by Garciaz. Marins can't do much from the bottom here.

We're going to have a standup here because Joaquin Marins wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Garciaz slips under a jab from Marins.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Marins misses with a looping left. Marins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Garciaz is trying to defend but Marins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Still in half guard, Marins seems content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joaquin Marins dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Marins scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Marins wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Garciaz, who protects the arm well. Marins moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Marins throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marins controlling from side mount. Marins trying to control the position but Garciaz is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Garciaz takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Garciaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Marins has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Marins working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Marins is staying tight to Garciaz's torso, preventing him from escaping. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Garciaz keeps working.

Marins cracks Garciaz with a big right hand and Garciaz goes down!
Garciaz is rocked! Marins drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Marins as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Garciaz screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Marins! Nice submission victory there!
