Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DK Oakston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oakston comes into the arena with Beastie Boys - High Plains Drifter blaring out of the sound system. Alves has chosen Shadows fall - Still I Rise as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Corey Alves!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oakston throws a quick inside leg kick.

Alves closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Oakston wants to control the action here but instead Alves manages to pass to full mount!
