Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baby Firefly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richards comes to the cage accompanied by Cry me a river - Michael buble. Firefly is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bleed it out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firefly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Richards moves away.
Richards lands with a nice body punch.
Firefly connects with a right hand. Richards shakes it off.
Firefly loads up on a big right hand but Richards slips the punch.

Baby Firefly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Firefly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Richards but Richards pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Firefly crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Richards - the referee stops the clock and Firefly gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Richards. Firefly manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Firefly might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Richards has got the better of the exchanges.
