Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Trine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Fuchs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fuchs's choice of entrance music: Fly me to the moon. Franz Fuchs will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Trine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Franz Fuchs! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trine fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A chopping leg kick lands by Trine. Trine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Trine shoots for a double leg takedown but Fuchs sprawls well. He's pushed Trine's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Trine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trine feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fuchs's calf. Trine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fuchs tries to avoid it but Trine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fuchs to the ground. Fuchs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Trine tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Trine connects with a solid leg kick. Fuchs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trine is fending him off so far but Fuchs persists. Nope, Trine circles away and we're back to standing. Trine stuns Fuchs with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Fuchs moves out of range as Trine throws a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Trine. Trine shoots and misses and Fuchs counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Trine regains full guard. Nicely done. Trine can't keep his opponent in guard - Fuchs advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Trine tries to kick Fuchs off but Fuchs keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fuchs prevents Trine from improving his position. Fuchs works his foot free and advances to mount. Trine is breathing heavily. Fuchs with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fuchs lands with some strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trine is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuchs throwing strikes here but Trine is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Trine is desperately trying to improve his position but Fuchs has a good base and remains in mount. Fuchs with good strikes from the mount here! Fuchs looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fuchs scoring with strikes but Trine is staying in there. Trine is controlling an arm, preventing Fuchs from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trine tries to improve his position but instead Fuchs has taken his back! Trine rolls, trying to escape but Fuchs keeps control of the position.
Fuchs avoiding Trine 's attempts to control his hands. Fuchs working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Trine is doing well to defend. Fuchs seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Trine is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Franz Fuchs!
