Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denis Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jet Kenichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Denis Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jet Kenichi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenichi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kenichi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kang throws a shot to the body.
Kang looks to throw the jab but Kenichi is out of range.
Kenichi wants to clinch.
Kang throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Kang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kenichi pinned against the cage. Kenichi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kang circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kang keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kenichi is looking to clinch.
Kenichi wants to clinch.
Kenichi doesn't manage to clinch there - Kang circles away.
Kenichi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kenichi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kang cracks Kenichi with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kenichi tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kang pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kenichi is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denis Kang!
