Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryuuji Takasu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinton Jackson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryuuji Takasu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quinton Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryuuji Takasu! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takasu moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off. Jackson misses with a wild combination.
Takasu works over Jackson's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Quinton Jackson has been cut. Takasu throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Jackson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Takasu counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jackson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Takasu fails to land the takedown. Jackson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Takasu tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance. Jackson throws a right and a left that Takasu avoids nicely. Takasu scores with a jab to the jaw. Takasu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takasu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Jackson throws a combination that misses and Takasu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Takasu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Takasu with a body punch. A glancing blow. Takasu fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Quinton Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryuuji Takasu. Takasu lands a nice shot to the body.
Takasu wants to clinch. Takasu lands a nice hook to Jackson's body. Jackson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Jackson is breathing heavily. Takasu throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings Takasu. Jackson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takasu scores with the left hand. Jackson knows he should have avoided that one. Quinton Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jackson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Takasu counters with a lovely straight right hand! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Takasu tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it. Jackson misses with a double jab
and Takasu counters with a nice uppercut. Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Takasu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Takasu scores with a sloppy right hand. Jackson should have avoided that one. Jackson throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Takasu to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takasu tries to clinch up. Takasu tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance. Takasu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jackson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Takasu fails with the takedown and Jackson counters with a series of strikes. Takasu will be more careful next time no doubt. Takasu is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.

Takasu lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Takasu. Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Takasu counters with a one-two to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson on the wrong end of a nice jab. Takasu cracks Jackson with a right hand to the side of the head. Takasu throws a combination that misses and Jackson counters with a three punch combo that has Takasu backing up. Takasu nods at Jackson to acknowledge the strikes. Takasu swinging wildly here.
Takasu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Takasu wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance. Takasu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jackson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings Takasu.
That's five minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Takasu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Takasu cracks Jackson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Takasu throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jackson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Takasu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Takasu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jackson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Takasu misses with a takedown attempt and Jackson counters with a series of strikes. Takasu will be more careful next time no doubt. Takasu connects with a single shot there. Takasu scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Takasu cracks a nice hook into Jackson's ribs. Takasu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Takasu scores with a nice strike.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Takasu connects with a crisp jab. Takasu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Takasu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Jackson is rocked! Takasu tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance. Takasu throws a right and a left that both miss. Takasu scores with a sloppy right hand. Jackson should have avoided that one. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Takasu doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Takasu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jackson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Takasu moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off. Takasu lands with a right and another and another! Jackson is in big trouble! Takasu lands again and this time it's lights out for Jackson! A quality knockout there for Takasu.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ryuuji Takasu!
