Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Water Melon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eliseo Seterra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seterra has chosen Before I forget as his entrance music. Eliseo Seterra has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Water Melon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Water Melon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eliseo Seterra!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melon looks to land a body kick but Seterra moved away.
Seterra lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Melon circles away quickly and effectively.
Melon misses with a head kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Seterra.
Seterra is trying to get an arm triangle but Melon is defending well.
Seterra cracks Melon with a big elbow.
Seterra is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Melon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Seterra trying to control the action but Melon is working from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Melon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Seterra moves into full mount!
Seterra swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Melon is now in Seterra's guard. A big mistake from Seterra there, giving up the dominant position!
Melon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Melon wants to stand but Seterra has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Melon trying to control the position from guard on top but Seterra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Seterra throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Seterra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Melon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Melon looking to sit in guard and control but Seterra gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Seterra trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Seterra postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Melon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Seterra, into his guard.
Seterra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Melon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Melon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eliseo Seterra dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Melon looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Seterra.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Melon!
It looks like Eliseo Seterra has been cut.
Melon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seterra tries to avoid it but Melon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seterra to the ground. Seterra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Melon, right into the meat.
Melon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Seterra shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Seterra is looking to take a break and control but Melon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Seterra is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Melon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Seterra.
Seterra is breathing heavily.
Seterra seems to be looking for submissions.
Seterra is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Melon sees it coming and defends easily.
Seterra is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Seterra is looking for a kimura but Melon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Seterra to get the leverage.
Seterra wants to work for an arm triangle but Melon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Seterra is trying to control. Melon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Seterra is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Melon trying to hold on to Seterra's head to control him but Seterra postures up.

Seterra tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Melon.

Seterra working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Seterra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Melon is just riding it out for now. Seterra eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Seterra thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Seterra wants to lay and pray for a moment but Melon keeps working.
Seterra stands up and beckons Melon to join him on the feet.
Melon finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Melon counters with a big head kick but Seterra shrugs it off.
Seterra misses with a few strikes there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Eliseo Seterra will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Seterra goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Melon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Melon stuffs the takedown.
Seterra on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Melon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Water Melon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eliseo Seterra.
Melon lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Seterra tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Melon swivels and escapes.
Melon feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Seterra's calf.

Seterra chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Melon can pounce on him.

Melon throws the kick towards the body but Seterra avoids it.
Seterra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Melon feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Seterra's calf.
Melon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seterra was well out of range. Poor timing from Melon.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Seterra.

Melon cracks the inside of Seterra's front leg.
Seterra's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Seterra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Melon as he jumps to the side.
Melon closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Melon lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Seterra throws a looping overhand right but Melon ducks down to avoid it.
Melon misses with a body kick.
Melon throws a head kick that misses.
Melon leaves Seterra with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Melon thumps Seterra with a low kick.
Melon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Seterra circles away quickly and effectively.

Melon feints and then cracks Seterra's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Seterra down.
Melon lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Seterra, as that shot connected.
Seterra on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Melon. Melon obviously looking to wear him down.

Seterra bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Water Melon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Melon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Seterra.

Water Melon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seterra blocks a leg kick.
Seterra fails to land with a series of punches.
Seterra avoids the head kick by Melon.
Eliseo Seterra is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Melon shoots in but Seterra avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Seterra feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Seterra thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Water Melon showed his dominance in that final round.
