Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaime Sousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sousa is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Papa Roach - Last Resort. Sapp has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sapp is breathing heavily. Sousa tries for a takedown but Sapp sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sousa gets a clinch. A knee to the head by Sousa.
Sapp working hard to break the clinch. Sousa jumps guard but Sapp stands there with Sousa around his waist. Sousa gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sousa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sapp. Sousa is looking to slow Sapp down with leg kicks. Sousa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sapp paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sousa darts in and clinches Sapp up against the cage. Sousa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sousa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

and Sousa counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sousa throwing shots but Sapp is blocking nicely. Sousa throws a strike but Sapp avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Sousa in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sapp is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sousa is controlling him. He's got his arms around Sapp's waist but Sapp gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sousa off to one side. Sapp tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sousa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sapp won't be happy with that. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sousa in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Sapp tries to improve position but can't. Sousa lands a decent elbow from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sousa with the ground and pound but Sapp regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Sousa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. And that's the end of the fight! Jaime Sousa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sousa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
