Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Munster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders comes into the arena with Turbonegro - Prince Of The Rodeo blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Sanders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeff Munster! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sanders throws a body punch but Munster moves out of range. Munster decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Munster wants to control but Sanders is keeping him busy. Munster is pressing down on Sanders's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sanders is holding on for now. Sanders regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Munster. Munster drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sanders looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sanders looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sanders! A lull in the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Munster's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Munster is looking to reverse the position. Sanders landing strikes. Sanders is looking to take a break and control but Munster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sanders lands a few punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Munster is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Munster's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Munster is trying to escape the position but Sanders is controlling the position. Sanders laying and praying for a moment but Munster takes advantage and regains half guard. Munster is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sanders trying to control the action but Munster is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanders working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sanders throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Munster trying to hold on to Sanders's head to control him but Sanders postures up.
Sanders is trying to control the action in half guard but Munster is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sanders in particular looking to stall. Munster is looking to control Sanders's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Munster avoid being mounted? Sanders controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sanders seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanders is keen to just control but Munster is a slippery customer. Sanders seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bruce Sanders. Sanders tries to clinch but Munster is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Munster moves away from the strike by Sanders. Horrible takedown by Munster or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanders which made him look bad. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Sanders dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Munster fails with the takedown. Sanders defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Munster. Sanders stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Munster. Sanders takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Munster closes the distance but Sanders moves to the side and Sanders counters with a nice uppercut. Sanders throws a right and a left that both miss. Sanders scores with a jab to the body. Munster throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Sanders throws out a loose jab but Munster uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munster misses with a takedown and Sanders counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bruce Sanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Munster. Munster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sanders clinches with his opponent.
Sanders has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Munster clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Munster tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! BOOM! Sanders connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Munster is looking to improve his position but Sanders isn't that keen on the idea. Sanders working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Munster is squirming around, avoiding Sanders's attempts to control the action. Munster is looking to improve his position but Sanders isn't that keen on the idea. Munster slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Munster missing with punches from the bottom.
Sanders scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanders lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Munster is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sanders throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Munster is looking to improve his position.
Sanders trying to mount his opponent but Munster defends it. Munster wants to control but Sanders is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sanders is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Munster avoids the body shot from Sanders.
No joy there for Sanders, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Munster doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sanders holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Sanders dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Sanders scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Jeff Munster has been cut. Sanders tries to clinch up. Munster lands with a kick to the temple. Sanders shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A jab lands there for Sanders. Munster gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sanders counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Sanders lands a hook to the side of the head. Munster is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Sanders scores with a shot to the side of Munster's head. Sanders lands a left hand that snaps the head of Munster backwards. A right handed body shot lands from Sanders.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Munster is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sanders has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Munster is trying to keep an underhook but Sanders manages to get the takedown into half guard. Sanders is trying to control. Munster wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Munster takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sanders thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munster is trying to maintain the position but Sanders is very close to passing his half guard. Munster has hold of Sanders's hands but Sanders slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Sanders working over Munster with some ground and pound. Munster looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Sanders wants to stand up but Munster is controlling the position.
Sanders is thwarting Munster's attempts to control the position. Sanders is looking to advance position but Munster won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Munster trying to control from the bottom.
Munster tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Munster tries to get to full guard but Sanders has control of the leg. Sanders looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sanders throws a right and a left that both miss. Sanders takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Sanders just misses with a punch to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanders misses with a wild combination.
Munster tries for a takedown but Sanders circles away easily and Sanders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bruce Sanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Munster. Munster shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sanders counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sanders throws a nice looking combination but Munster bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sanders sizes up Munster with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sanders throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sanders fails to land with a series of punches.
Sanders looks to land a left hand but Munster moved out of range nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanders connects with a looping right hand.
Sanders forces Munster back against the cage and clinches. Sanders lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Munster backwards. Munster gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sanders is looking to control Munster's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sanders avoid being mounted? Sanders is not content to let Munster control the position. Sanders regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Munster. Jeff Munster has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bruce Sanders is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Munster throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Sanders showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sanders has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
