Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Jaminson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitri Mikhailovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dmitri Mikhailovich was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jaminson has Mikhailovich up against the cage in a clinch.
Mikhailovich goes for a takedown attempt but Jaminson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jaminson wants to clinch
and Mikhailovich connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jaminson.

It looks like Dmitri Mikhailovich has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Jaminson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jaminson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
The fighters circling - Mikhailovich throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mikhailovich scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Jaminson wants to stand and escape but Mikhailovich is having none of it.

Jaminson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mikhailovich on the ground.

Jaminson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mikhailovich is proving hard to escape from.
Jaminson wants to stand and escape but instead Mikhailovich has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Mikhailovich won't allow Jaminson to get back to his feet.

Jaminson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mikhailovich wants to control from the top but Jaminson keeps moving.
Mikhailovich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jaminson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mikhailovich forces his way into half guard.

Mikhailovich looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jaminson is looking to escape.
