Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mouse Travis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Rickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mouse Travis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rocky Rickson!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rickson has closed the distance and engaged Travis in a clinch.

Rickson jumps guard.

Travis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rickson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Travis, into his guard.
Rickson wants to pass the guard but Travis is keeping the position.

Rickson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rickson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Travis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Travis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Travis moves to the back position.

Travis is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Rickson defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Travis's arms.

Rickson manages to reverse the position and now he's in Travis's guard. Nice work there by Rickson.
Travis controls Rickson momentarily but Rickson frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Travis is breathing heavily.
Rickson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Travis's guard.
Travis is trying to get back to full guard.
Travis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rickson throwing shots but Travis is blocking nicely.
Rickson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Rickson is looking for a kimura but Travis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rickson to get the leverage.

Rickson is looking to stall here but Travis recovers full guard.

Rickson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Rickson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Travis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Travis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Travis!
Rickson is trying to control Travis's posture but Travis avoids it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Travis tries to advance to mount but Rickson denies him.
You can see the frustration on Rickson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rickson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Travis is tying to control. Rickson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Rickson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Travis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rickson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Rocky Rickson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


No luck for Travis with that takedown attempt.
Mouse Travis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Rickson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Travis!
Rickson fails to take his opponent's back.
Travis wants to hold on but Rickson pushes him away.
Rickson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Travis in real trouble here! The ref calls for Travis to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rocky Rickson!
