Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colton Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wesley Shiver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ace's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jedi Mind Tricks - I against I feat. Planetary . Colton Ace had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Wesley Shiver has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ace shoots for a double leg takedown but Shiver sprawls well. He's pushed Ace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
A looping hook to the body misses from Ace. Shiver does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ace moves into range and connects with a jab.

Colton Ace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ace has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Shiver. Oh but Ace has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Shiver goes limp - he's gone! Ace jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
