Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Long Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Nishimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dong comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Going In. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Long Dong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Shinji Nishimura! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dong leaves Nishimura with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nishimura fails to land the takedown. Dong misses with a wild combination.
Dong gets caught flat footed, as Nishimura shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dong is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nishimura forces his way into half guard. Nishimura seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nishimura seems to be working for a kimura but Dong defends the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nishimura sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dong defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dong is defending against the submission attempts here by Nishimura.
Nishimura wants to take a breather but Dong is having none of it. Nishimura is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Dong is staying active underneath Nishimura, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dong works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nishimura pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dong is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dong keeping moving, preventing Nishimura from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nishimura shoots in and bounces Dong off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Nishimura drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dong manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nishimura has Dong in his guard. Dong tries to free his leg and advance position but Nishimura is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nishimura throws his legs up looking for a submission but Dong uses it to pass to side control.
Nishimura can't do much from the bottom here. Dong trying to control the action but Nishimura is working from the bottom. Dong is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nishimura is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nishimura tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Nishimura manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Dong is now in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shinji Nishimura dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Nishimura scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Nishimura is looking for a kimura but Dong is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nishimura to get the leverage. Nishimura seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A punch combination from Dong misses. Horrible takedown by Nishimura or perhaps it was just good defense by Dong which made him look bad. Nishimura fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nishimura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dong but Dong pushes him off and we're back to square one. Long Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shinji Nishimura. Dong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nishimura closes the distance and clinches up with Dong, looking for a takedown. Nishimura pushes Dong against the cage but Dong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nishimura shoots in for a double leg but Dong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Long Dong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nishimura tries a head kick but it misses.
Nishimura shoots in but Dong avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nishimura is breathing heavily. Nishimura takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Dong slaps away a takedown attempt from Nishimura, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nishimura fails with the takedown. Nishimura fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dong throws a series of punches but Nishimura avoids them all with ease. Dong throws a right and a left that Nishimura avoids nicely. Dong scores with a three punch combo!
Nishimura shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dong napping and manages to drive through into side control! Dong is trying to improve his position. Nishimura controlling from side mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nishimura wants to control but Dong is keeping him busy. Nishimura is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Nishimura working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Nishimura thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Long Dong will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Horrible takedown by Nishimura or perhaps it was just good defense by Dong which made him look bad. Dong swings away with a leg kick that misses. Nishimura shoots in and drives through. Dong sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Nishimura. Nishimura fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Long Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shinji Nishimura. Dong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nishimura closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dong circles away. Long Dong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nishimura is looking to clinch but Dong is avoiding it.
Dong closes the distance and lands a one-two. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dong lands a jab. Dong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nishimura moves away. Dong tries to bum rush Nishimura with a series of wild strikes but Nishimura uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A clash of legs there as Dong blocks the low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dong keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nishimura shoots in for a takedown but Dong shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dong throws a leg kick and Nishimura decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dong's guard. Nishimura wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving. Nishimura is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dong is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dong has escaped and now he's on top! Nishimura keeping moving, preventing Dong from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dong stops Nishimura from standing up. Nishimura wants to sweep but no luck. Dong avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dong throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nishimura works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dong is looking to work some ground and pound but Nishimura has wrist control. Nishimura keeping full guard, as Dong tries to pass. Dong trying to control but Nishimura is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nishimura with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dong to score with a decent uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Long Dong. I think Dong has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
