The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leobotas lands a head kick!
MaGillaski misses with a jab, cross combination.
MaGillaski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Leobotas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with MaGillaski but MaGillaski pushes him off and we're back to square one. MaGillaski darts in and clinches Leobotas up against the cage. Leobotas slips a nice elbow through MaGillaski's hands, connecting with MaGillaski's forehead. Leobotas tries to pass to full mount but MaGillaski defends it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if MaGillaski can do anything to dispel that myth. Leobotas is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
MaGillaski is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Leobotas thuds a left hand into MaGillaski's body. MaGillaski throws a head kick that misses and Leobotas counters with a left to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Leobotas shoots in for a double leg but MaGillaski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. MaGillaski shoots and misses and Leobotas counters with a nice body kick.

Leobotas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Leobotas working the head with strikes. MaGillaski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than MaGillaski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Leobotas swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Leobotas sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Leobotas looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. MaGillaski sitting and controlling from the half guard. Leobotas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Leobotas is defending against the submission attempts here by MaGillaski.

That's one minute gone in the round. MaGillaski is keen to just control but Leobotas is a slippery customer. Leobotas makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Leobotas. MaGillaski has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Leobotas to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! MaGillaski is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Leobotas pulls down on the head and he's put MaGillaski to sleep! This one is all over!
