Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny MacShane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li's entrance music is Give My Bullet Back. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny MacShane! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacShane throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. MacShane lands a nice looking body shot.
Li closes the distance and clinches up with MacShane, looking for a takedown. Li pushes MacShane against the cage but MacShane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Li fails with a takedown attempt. Li shoots in for a takedown but MacShane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Li. That's going to take a lot out of him. Li tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but MacShane swivels and escapes. MacShane bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Li moves forwards but MacShane connects with a nice, crisp jab. Li walks into a left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacShane takes a swing at Li's ribcage but misses. Li takes a shot right to the bread basket. MacShane cracks a nice hook into Li's ribs. The fighters circling - MacShane throws out the jab but it was never going to land. MacShane sizes up Li with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. MacShane swings for the body but Li moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Li moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. MacShane digs a good hook to Li's body.

It looks like James Li has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. MacShane thuds a left hand into Li's body. Li needs to keep his hands up - MacShane had a free shot at his head there. MacShane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. MacShane scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Li. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Li closes the distance and clinches up with MacShane, looking for a takedown. Li pushes MacShane against the cage but MacShane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Li is defended easily by MacShane. MacShane is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Li had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. MacShane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Li takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

MacShane stuffs the takedown attempt from Li. Li gets slowly back to his feet. Li dodges the punch combination from MacShane.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Li fails miserably with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny MacShane dominated that round. The cut man is working on James Li's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Li shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. MacShane defends it nicely. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Li might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. MacShane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li is trying hard to land a takedown here. MacShane sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Li shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as MacShane sprawls well. MacShane wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Li gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A decent looking cross lands there for MacShane. No luck for Li with that takedown attempt. Li will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. MacShane lands a nice hook to Li's body. Li takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. MacShane scores with a body shot.

MacShane manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny MacShane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on James Li's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
