Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Samos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Samos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Santana doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Santana manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Santana stands and steps away. Samos gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Santana moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Santana throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Samos's head.
Santana goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Santana feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
