Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between First Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Barton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy's entrance music is New York. A fine choice. The key to victory for First Boy has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, First Boy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Barton! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy takes a body punch but keeps moving. Boy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Barton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boy to the mat! Boy manages to get full guard. Boy keeping moving, preventing Barton from controlling successfully. Boy wants to control but Barton passes easily into half guard.
Barton stalling. Barton thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Boy's head. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Boy tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Barton manages to move to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round. Barton sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Boy can't escape the position.
Barton postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Boy looks a forlorn figure.
Barton controlling from the full mount. Boy is looking to get to half guard. Boy tries to hold on but Barton pushes him away. Barton controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barton is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Boy has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Boy wants to try and get back to his feet. Barton with shots to the head and body - Boy looks very uncomfortable down there. Barton with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barton cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Barton lands with some strikes. Boy taking shots to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boy is in all sorts of trouble here.
Boy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barton looking to finish Boy with some ground and pound. This is bad for Boy!
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Barton. Barton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Barton lands a nice shot to the head. Barton putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Barton is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Boy can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

It looks like First Boy has been cut. Barton scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Barton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Barton landing shots from mount. First Boy's cut is getting worse. Barton scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Boy?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Barton goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Boy is on top in guard.
Boy wants to stand and escape but instead Barton has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Barton dominated that round. The cut man is working on First Boy's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Boy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Barton slips under a jab. Barton moves into range and clinches up with Boy. Barton keeps control of Boy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Boy wants to break free but Barton has control.
Boy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Boy throws a head punch that misses. Barton scores with a shot to the side of Boy's head. Boy wants to get back to striking at distance but Barton won't allow it.
Barton has Boy pressed against the cage, preventing Boy from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Barton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. First Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab by Barton. Boy throws a predictable looking body shot
and Barton counters with a left to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Boy. Barton does a little dance to reset his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A big right from Boy misses. A head kick misses from Boy. Boy throws a left and a right that both miss
and Barton counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Boy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barton on the ground. Boy wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barton moves nicely into side control. Boy is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jack Barton has got the better of the ground game so far. Barton tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Boy is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Barton is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Barton moves into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barton is in the full mount, landing strikes.
First Boy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at First Boy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
