Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mauricio Ricardo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Damien Danielson! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ricardo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Danielson tries to avoid it but Ricardo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Danielson to the ground. Danielson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Danielson!
Danielson throws a one two combo.
Ricardo fails with a takedown attempt. Ricardo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Danielson but Danielson pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mauricio Ricardo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Danielson rushes Ricardo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ricardo tries for a takedown but Danielson manages to get underhooks.
Danielson breaks the clinch.
Danielson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ricardo backs up against the cage.
A jab from Danielson finds it's way through Ricardo's defenses. Danielson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ricardo, pushing him back against the cage. Danielson breaks from the clinch.
Danielson dips to his left and cracks Ricardo with an uppercut! This has been an exciting period of action! Ricardo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Danielson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Danielson has managed to clinch.

Danielson closes the distance and pushes Ricardo back into the cage. Ricardo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Danielson prevents it.
Ricardo has Danielson pressed against the cage, preventing Danielson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danielson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ricardo just stands there and leans against the cage. Danielson wants to break free but Ricardo has control.
Danielson breaks the clinch.
Ricardo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Danielson as he avoids it easily. Danielson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ricardo takes one to the chin there. Ricardo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Danielson's half guard. Ricardo is breathing heavily. Danielson tries to roll over but Ricardo keeps him under control. Ricardo is working for a submission of some sort.

Ricardo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Danielson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ricardo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ricardo stops Danielson from getting back to his feet.
Ricardo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Danielson defends it well. Ricardo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Danielson has managed to free his arm - good work. Danielson is trying to stand back up but Ricardo is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ricardo seems to be working for a kimura but Danielson defends the submission attempt. Danielson wants to get back to his feet. Ricardo is thwarting Danielson's attempts to control the position. Ricardo seems to be looking for submissions.
Ricardo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Danielson defend it? Ricardo steps over the head and cranks it - Danielson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ricardo!
