Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rocky Orton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, King Masters! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters stuffs the takedown. Orton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Masters defends it nicely. Masters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Orton shoots for a double leg takedown but Masters sprawls well. He's pushed Orton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Orton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Masters looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Orton! Orton can't escape the position.
Masters putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Masters looking to ground and pound but Orton is blocking nicely. Orton tries to lock up and control but Masters gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Orton wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Masters.
Orton is trying to get back to his feet but Masters has full control of the position and if anything, Orton has just worked his way into a worse spot. Masters is throwing strikes by Orton counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Orton regains half guard. Masters perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Masters thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Orton to regain full guard. Masters decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Orton, up you get! Masters closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Masters lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Masters won't allow Orton to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters trying to control but Orton is working from the bottom. Masters slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Orton pushes Masters away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Masters gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters stands up and we're back to a striking position. The fight stays on the outside here - Masters looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Masters closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Masters lands in his opponent's guard. Masters stops Orton from standing up. Orton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Masters is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orton keeping moving, preventing Masters from controlling successfully. Orton has control of Masters's left arm, preventing Masters from doing any damage. Masters must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Orton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Masters is controlling him. Orton is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Orton misses with a takedown and Masters counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Orton trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Orton kicks off Masters and gets to his feet. Masters wants to clinch up but Orton keeps it at a distance. Masters throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Orton. Orton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Masters counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Masters trying to control the position from guard on top but Orton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Masters gets to his feet - Orton follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orton fails with the takedown and Masters counters with a nice double leg into side control. Orton won't be happy with that. That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters is trying to control the action in half guard but Orton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Orton kicks off Masters and gets to his feet. Orton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Masters counters with a good, hard body kick but Orton shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Masters closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Orton is trying to get back to half guard. Masters trying to control the action but Orton is working from the bottom. Masters throwing strikes but Orton manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
King Masters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Masters tries to clinch up but Orton circles away and keeps his distance. Orton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Masters counters with a nice double leg into guard. Masters won't allow Orton to sweep him here. Masters wants to pass the guard but Orton is keeping the position. Masters drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Orton dives on top into guard. Orton wanted to stand there but Masters had control of the position. Orton wants to control from the top but Masters keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Masters perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. King Masters has got the better of the ground game so far. Masters is looking to take a break and control but Orton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Masters lands a nice short elbow. Orton is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Masters throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Masters is keen to just control but Orton is a slippery customer. Masters stalling away here and it's allowed Orton to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Orton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Orton pushes Masters off and gets back to his feet.
Masters lands a head kick. Orton smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orton shoots and misses and Masters counters with a left and a right that stings Orton. Masters looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Orton! Orton bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Masters looking to hit a scissor sweep but Orton is one step ahead there. Orton trying to control the position from guard on top but Masters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Orton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Masters swivels though and keeps the full guard. Masters keeping moving, preventing Orton from controlling successfully. Rocky Orton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! King Masters is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Orton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that's the end of the fight! King Masters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Masters has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
