Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Fauteux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Bagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fauteux comes into the arena with Stomp By Young Buck blaring out of the sound system. Jake Fauteux could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tom Bagger's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fauteux stuffs the takedown attempt from Bagger. Bagger gets slowly back to his feet.
Bagger is looking to clinch.
Fauteux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bagger swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bagger fails with a takedown attempt.
Bagger keeps the fight on the outside.
Left hook, right uppercut from Fauteux.
Fauteux's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Fauteux duly obliges.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bagger shoots in but Fauteux avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jake Fauteux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Bagger.
Fauteux closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fauteux lands in his opponent's guard.
Fauteux avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bagger wants to stand up but Fauteux is controlling him.
Fauteux has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fauteux wants to control from the top but Bagger keeps moving.

Fauteux catches Bagger with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fauteux moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bagger throws a combination that misses
and Fauteux counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bagger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fauteux counters with a nice uppercut.
Bagger looks gassed!
Fauteux clinches up against the cage.
Fauteux gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Bagger gets full guard.
Bagger tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fauteux wants to control from the top but Bagger keeps moving.
Bagger utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fauteux stays in close to Bagger's body and controls the position.

Fauteux would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bagger working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fauteux.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bagger shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Fauteux wants to get back to his feet.
Fauteux is trying to maintain the position but Bagger is very close to passing his half guard.
Bagger is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fauteux defends it well.
Fauteux is trying to control but can't.
Bagger has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fauteux defend it? Bagger steps over the head and cranks it - Fauteux is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bagger!
