The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicto gets a takedown into half guard.
Kantola keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Nicto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kantola doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nicto.

Kantola is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nicto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nicto's back!

Nicto drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kantola manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nicto has Kantola in his guard.
Kantola wants to get up but he can't break Nicto's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Nicto has an active guard here but Kantola has managed to pass into half guard.

Nicto slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Nicto manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Kantola is in a horrible position here. Nicto smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Kantola takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Nicto's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
